A unique adventure through 10 departments
Created in 1995, the Grande Traversée du Massif Central linked Clermont-Ferrand to Sète for a total of nearly 700km.
In 2018, the
new "version" of the GTMC was born,
linking Avallon in the Morvan to Cap d'Agde on the Mediterranean Sea.
An
itinerary of almost 1400km allowing you to live a unique experience!

From the
mountains and lakes of the Morvan, head for the magnificent
landscapes of the Massif Central, climb the
volcanoes of the Auvergne, cross the
Cévennes National Park and the
plateaux of the Grands Causses, then reach the
beaches of the Mediterranean!
