How to get to the Gorges du Pas de Cère
Located less than an hour's drive from your hotel restaurant La Méridienne in the Cantal, the gorges are accessible from two entry points and their hiking trail:
Trail No. 1: from the Pas de Cèdre car park on the RN122 between the villages of Vic-sur-Cère and Thiézac. Named "The mysterious Gorges of the Cère", this path invites you to go back about 7 million years when the area was shaped. You will pass by the Roucolle waterfall before going to the Gorges.
Trail No. 2: starting from the place called Salvanhac in the commune of Vic-sur-Cère. One kilometre long, this path is the historical walk to the Pas de Cère of the curists of the Belle Époque. This walk also offers you the opportunity to solve the "Mystery at the Grand Hôtel".
